ConocoPhillips announced the presentation of $303,800 in charitable grants to 14 organizations in the Williston Basin.
This year’s grant recipients included area volunteer first responders, healthcare facilities, schools, natural resources/environmental initiatives and various other civic organizations. The largest of these donations was a $250,000 grant—the final installment of a four-year commitment totaling $1,000,000—to CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson for the new hospital campus. The grants will support specific projects or purchases that will help each organization achieve its mission.
“As citizens of multiple Williston Basin communities, we are pleased to give back to the communities where we live and work,” said Justin Bethancourt, Williston operations and maintenance superintendent. “The organizations that were selected are working hard to improve the quality of life in their communities, and we are proud to support their efforts.”
Each year, ConocoPhillips invests in local communities through charitable giving, employee volunteerism and sponsorships. Company donations support education, health and safety, natural resources, the arts, civic and social services and disaster relief.
ConocoPhillips has offices in Billings and Sidney, Montana, and in Dickinson and Watford City, North Dakota.
