GTUIT®, LLC ( www.GTUIT.com) today announced that it has recently surpassed 20 MMCFD (million cubic feet per day) of deployed well site natural gas processing capacity. The most recent GTUIT system deployment is a follow-on order from one of the leading producers in the Bakken. GTUIT continues to ship units and grow its processing capacity in face of declining commodity prices and rig counts.
GTUIT® was an early pioneer of well-site technology to significantly reduce flared gas volumes and emissions, long before regulations were put in place. GTUIT works with the leading Bakken producers to reduce flare volumes utilizing its innovative technology and unmatched service.
“It is interesting to note that when you combine our processing capacity, we are comparable in size to a small gas plant, except our equipment is dispersed across more than a dozen well sites. Our systems are on well locations processing less than 500 MCFD to over 3 MMCFD and we are consistently shipping almost 2 million gallons of NGLs per month” according to Brian Cebull, President & CEO.
“In January 2016 the requirements for North Dakota flare capture will increase from 77% to 85% of the volume. Even with the recent capture rate of 83%, additional capacity is still required to reach that target, and GTUIT will be there to help Bakken producers meet their regulatory goals.” Cebull goes on to say.
