Bismarck, N.D. – The Energy of North Dakota is hosting its Fueling Fun Toy Drive in partnership with United Way and other local charitable organizations to help collect toys for disadvantaged children this holiday season. This year marks the fourth time the NDPC has hosted this event, collecting more than 800 toys for children throughout the Bakken since the charitable event’s inception.
“We’re excited to once again host and participate in this heart-warming event,” said Tiffany Steiner, Marketing and Membership Manager for the NDPC and coordinator of this year’s drive. “Our members and their employees are constantly active in the community and participating in events to give back, but we especially take pleasure in bringing joy to deserving children this Christmas.”
In addition to helping collect toys for the holiday season, one company will also win the chance to donate $1,000 to the charity of its choice by collecting the most items to further spread holiday cheer this year. Through this friendly competition, the NDPC has given $7,000 to charities on behalf of its members.
While the NDPC is actively partnering with the United Way for this drive, local organizations that have children in need of gifts this year are encouraged to participate and may contact the NDPC to learn more.
The Fueling Fun Drive is one of several joint events organized by the NDPC Community Outreach Committee, which was formed to work together to make a stronger positive impact in North Dakota communities.
