The oil and gas industry collected more than 2,770 pounds of food and other essential items last month during the Food, Essentials and Supplies Throwdown, a friendly competition among companies to collect the most items. Bilfinger Westcon won the competition hosted by the Energy of North Dakota and won $1,000 to donate to the charity of its choice.
All items collected during the campaign were donated to social service centers and partners of the Great Plains Food Pantry. F.E.A.S.T. is just one of several volunteer drives hosted by Energy of North Dakota.
