  • Statoil announces $50,000 charitable fund for STEM educationAugust 3, 2016

    WILLISTON, N.D. – Statoil announced a $50,000 donation to the Northwest North Dakota Community Foundation, the first oil and gas company to support the newly created nonprofit.
    The contribution will establish the Statoil North Dakota Charitable Fund, which will initially support investments in K-12 science, engineering, technology and math education.
    The foundation is now accepting proposals for Statoil STEM education fellowships, which will provide grants for teachers in Williams, McKenzie and Mountrail counties. The deadline is Sept. 30. For more information, visitwww.NWNDCommunityFoundation.org.
